Let me start by…

welcoming each and one of you to Ateliér The Ché, it is my pleasure to have you here and I hope you will enjoy this curated space.

Ateliér The Ché is a result of a sequences of experiences. From studying at fashion school, zigzagging to the financial industry, to cross the Atlantic to study journalism and communication in the land of public relations after my fathers passing, and now, the recent years working with PR and media within the fashion industry. The idea came to me in the early stage of blogging, in fact – I was never prone on focusing my writing about me. I cant event remember how many times I’ve burst out “who cares what I had for breakfast, or who I metup for coffee?!” – well, maybe someone does. But there are far more intriguing things to discuss, and I have more interesting things to bring to the table than my day-to-day agenda.

But there are far more intriguing things to discuss, and I have more interesting things to bring to the table than my day-to-day agenda. My observations continued, how communication through different channels and platforms were merely about making a buck of people–and fear driven.

“I’M ALL FOR CLOTHES BEING AN EXTENSION AND EXPRESSION OF ME – BUT NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.”

There’s a difference, and a big difference in how communication is being used upon what the intention behind is. Marketing lingo has gone from creating a need to painting a picture that you’re less than if you don’t purchase their product.

Moving forward, being tiered of blabbering about myself I felt more compelled to tell other peoples stories. Inspiring women who had paved their own way, with an intention to be a positive force, who actually cared about making a difference, not only in their own wallet but also the world at large. Woman who stand for something and aren’t afraid of being their authentic self. In fact, I’m mostly ecstatic to be able to sit down and pick these women’s brains and share it with you.

“Buy this to look better”, or “if you want to be on trend (yani cool), you should wear this” oh and all the “anti-aging and looking younger products“and so forth. All the focus on the external led me to feel more starving for a space within the fashion industry that communicated from the heart. You can buy all the beautiful clothes in the world, true beauty and creativity comes from within. I am all for clothes being an extension and expression of me – but not the other way around. I’m all for having a skin routine, with the intention of taking care of myself, or at night when it becomes a ritual to passage my breath into a slower pace. I don’t want to look “younger” as so many beauty brands choose to market their products; I want a healthy skin. Balanced.

You don’t have to be based in Stockholm, nor Sweden to be a part of Atelier The Ché. You can live wherever you want.  My purpose of opening the doors to this space is to give others the opportunities I didn’t get. Maybe you’re aspiring writer, who wants to get publish? I’m waiting for you! Don’t hesitate for a second, if this tickles your fancy–it means that you’re one I’m looking for.

Once again, welcome! And thank you for being here, this space was created for you, we hope you’re going to enjoy this space as much as we love to move from within.

Love, Sara.

However, Atelier The Ché isn’t a one-woman show. ‘Atelier’ means workshop, a place where you create, a place where you think, and a place where energy flows, a place where you gather people to create with you. Atelier The Ché is looking for women who are creative, wants to tap into the creative field whether it’s writing, photography, videography and any other way of story telling. Maybe you want to deepen your skills within a special field, social media, styling or just conceptualizing–if this resonates to you, make sure to send me a mail and tell me a little about yourself and we’ll take it from there.
