Holistic approach to killing Candida
This self-care protocol that follows below can be perceived as very extensive and you may feel that it can be difficult to follow and relate to. You should always start from your own conditions and we are all different and have different conditions to create our own health. This is not a short-term diet or "loose weight diet" but rather recommendations for a good basic health and for creating an understanding of how the body works and what it needs to feel good.
Eat a lot of green leafy vegetables, preferably for each meal, chew thoroughly. It’s important to facilitate and relieve the digestion so that as much nutrition as possible can get picked up in the body.
Eat cabbage plants (broccoli, cauliflower, kale, red cabbage). If you have stomach and intestinal problems, start by steaming them before eating them raw. Please continue to steam them if you experience difficulty eating them raw.
You may have to wait 2 months with the intake of root vegetables if you have stomach and intestinal problems. They should not be eaten raw at first. Distribute most of the carbohydrate intake to after your workout, as the nutrition of the carbohydrates is best utilized by the body when it has been in activity.
Do not eat wheat in any form, (including spelled, bulgur, couscous), nor rye, barley, oats, candy, soft drinks, cakes, pasta, bread, fast food, processed food, beans, soybeans, soy milk, tofu, corn, artificial sweeteners or raw food pastries containing agave.
Do not eat/avoid as much as you can (due to its content of lectins): tomatoes, eggplant, white potatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkin, goji berries, cashew nuts, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, soy, peanuts and sweet peppers.
As with many other substances and foods, not only is it negative and there may be positive properties of lectins as well, and the last word about lectins being or not being said is not. But the big negative part with lectins is that they can benefit and create inflammations and damage the intestinal mucosa, which in turn has a direct negative impact on the rest of the body. It may be good to be aware of this so that you can create a better variation in your diet.
Get to the core of everything called sleep challenges. Going to bed preferable at 10.oo pm the latest and try to get up at 6.00 am to achieve a regular sleep rhythm.
Sleep in complete dark, don’t look at the phone or TV after 7.p.m. without glasses that block out blue/HEV light.
Clock genes control several vital functions in the body, which will affect your body’s hormonal system, which affects the Candida overgrowth.

Please take a morning walk of about 30-45 minutes each morning, preferably in nature if you have the opportunity and preferably immediately after breakfast.
Do not wear sunglasses during the walk. The morning walks will affect sleep positively as well as clock genes which affect all the body's cells positively, including the hormone system and thus also the candida.
It is an extremely important part of the protocol.
Focus on weight training between 2-4 times a week if possible.
Sauna and/or dry brush your body prior to the shower to help the body to get rid of slag products and boost the blood circulation, which facilitates the body's healing.
